Epic Stories on the Epic Stage - Musicals
Across more than a century of iconic musicals, countless shows have taught us to sing, dance, love, laugh, and cry. But how many famous productions can truly be called “epic”? In this series, we’ll explore three of Broadway’s most renowned musicals - stories so epic they actually happened.
Hamilton: An American Musical (2015) – a revolutionary Broadway musical that tells the epic story of Alexander Hamilton, a Founding Father whose vision helped shape the United States. In a fresh take on musical theater, it blends modern musical styles with classic stage storytelling, tracing Hamilton’s journey from Caribbean immigrant through the complexities of American politics to become the nation’s first Secretary of the Treasury.
